Sloman Traveller

Ro-Ro vessel laden with trucks and containers carrying various chemicals, caught fire in heavy weather close to Isle of Terschelling, the Netherlands. Coastguard vessel ’Waker’ and another tug where mobilised to extinguish the blazing fire, a salvage team was airlifted on the bridge of the casualty to co-ordinate the firefighting. The vessel was successfully redelivered to her owners within 6 days.
