Disclaimer

SMIT Terminals is internationally recognised as a market leader in the specialised field of terminal management, terminal operations and the provision of associated services; a field that it has been active in since the early 1970s.

Currently operational in over 25 countries, we continue to grow our business, utilising our extensive global infrastructure and technical expertise as a foundation for operations world-wide.

We are specialists in rapidly establishing, commissioning and managing new terminals, often in remote locations, to the high international standards required by this industry.

We offer important services to the offshore and onshore terminal markets and are able to provide our customers with a turnkey capability in the operation of offshore and onshore tanker terminals.

Key long-term contracts are held in West and South Africa, as well as in the Middle East, South America, Black Sea and the Baltic.

We are able to offer our Customers the total human resource package required to cover all aspects of Terminal Operations. We have in place an Indigenous Resource Training and Development Programme. The aim of this programme is twofold - to produce internationally qualified personnel and to empower previously disadvantaged locals.
