New build hull lost during bad weather.

The new build hull for the ‘Vermontborg’ was under tow to a West European shipyard. During transportation a tug lost her under adverse weather conditions. It took a team and two tugs three weeks to refloat the hull, as the only way to refloat the hull was during the spring tide. The vessel was redelivered to her owners.
